FALL PROTECTION PLAN & RISK ASSESSMENT IMPLEMENTATION COURSE
Who :
Site supervisors, safety officers, appointed persons. This course is to enable anyone who is involved in managing people for work at height to impliment a company's designed fall protection plan. This is in order to comply with the OHS act 85 of 1993 Construction regulation sec 8 involving working at height.

Minimum: 7 candidates Maximum: 10 candidates - Away training
Duration: 1 Day (1-5 Candidates) or 2 Days (6-10 Candidates)
Requirements:
- 1 x Certified copy of ID
- Copy of Fall Arrest and Basic Rescue/ Rope Access Level 1 certificate
Certificate valid for : 3 Years

- Legislation for work at height
- Definitions
- Fall Protection plan layoout and implimentation
- Risk assessment for work at height, and practical exercise to understand concepts & completion of the pre-task risk assessment
- Pre-task Risk Assessment assignment, to be done on a known site, the candidates compentency will be determined by the completion of an assignment
- Site specific aspects relating to Fall Protection Plan
- Training record management
- Gear inspection record management
- Medical evaluation management
- Rescue procedures
- Incident reporting
